The data contained within the EUROCHAMP Data Archives are to be used for non-profit, scientific and educational purposes only. The EUROCHAMP steering committee reminds users of the data to acknowledge and honour the following statement.

"For scientific purposes, access to these data is unlimited and provided without charge. By their use you accept that an offer of co-authorship will be made through personal contact with the data providers or owners whenever substantial use is made of their data. In all cases, an acknowledgement must be made to the data providers or owners and to the data centre when these data are used within a publication."

Interested data clients are reminded that the data within the archive must be considered as subject to change without notice. The data are provided as is without any expressed or implied warranties whatsoever. The originators of these data are ultimately responsible for data quality. The originators should always be consulted when there are questions or error reports, and should always be notified when the data are used.

The data files may be used and copied as long as they are not sold and this entire notice is reproduced on each copy made. The data files may not be redistributed without explicit permission by the originator.

The EUROCHAMP steering committee reserves the right to limit access to the Data archives and to alter or change the layout and content of the database without further notice.
